The start of the 9/11 Heroes Run 5K & 1Mile Fun Run/Walk Saturday at Cranbury Park in Norwalk. Large portions of the proceeds raised stay in the host race communities to fund your local first responder, military, and veteran nonprofits who partner with the Travis Manion Foundation. Remaining proceeds support Travis Manion Foundation Challenge Grants, which provide veterans and families of fallen service members by providing camaraderie, transition assistance, grief support, and education through service-based initiatives.
